I tried connecting the JDBC to the Apache derby so as to turn the statistic DB on the JENNFIER into the dashboard application. When I tried the below, however, I noticed an error. Hope you could help me solve the problem.
==
Case1 : Fail, Schema ‘JENNIFER’ does not exist; nested exception is java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: Schema ‘JENNIFER’ does not exist
BasicDataSource dataSource = new BasicDataSource();
dataSource.setDriverClassName(“org.apache.derby.jdbc.EmbeddedDriver”);
dataSource.setUrl(“jdbc:derby:jennifer”);
dataSource.setUsername(“id”);
dataSource.setPassword(“pw”);
==
==
Case2 : Fail, Declined to connect, Declined to connect with 1527 port.
BasicDataSource dataSource = new BasicDataSource();
dataSource.setDriverClassName(“org.apache.derby.jdbc.ClientDriver”);
dataSource.setUrl(“jdbc:derby://localhost/jennifer”);
dataSource.setUsername(“id”);
dataSource.setPassword(“pw”);

1. The embedded needs to be accessed inside the process.
2. When you use the 1527 port, you need to add the below to the setting file.
system.derby.drda.startNetworkServer = true
system.derby.drda.portNumber = 1527
system.derby.drda.host = 192.168.0.1
